What is a talisman?

This design was drawn by Master Zhang, then reproduced on yellow card and laminated so you can keep it with you.
The meaning within the design
Seven stars above your path
The connected stars at the top depict the Big Dipper, a constellation cherished in Eastern spiritual traditions. Here, let its presence bring to mind a guiding sky above the journey ahead.
A wish for harmony
The groups of three lines around the centre are the eight trigrams, symbols associated with the changing patterns of nature. They bring a language of balance and change into the design—a meaningful companion when life is moving into a new season.
May things flow your way
The writing along the bottom expresses a wish for favourable winds, smooth waters and prosperity. In everyday words: may your path unfold more smoothly, and may good opportunities meet the effort you are making.
